Ellie also has a keen interest in falls prevention, having had one of her articles published in this specialist area within the Journal of Disability and Rehabilitation in 2018.

Aran

Aran is our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist here at Stoll-Hill. Aran has an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science (First Class Hons), a Masters degree in Physiotherapy (Merit) and is registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Aran has a passion for working with those with Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic impairments.

Aran's experience has included work on major trauma wards and alongside patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery, providing both pre and post-operative rehabilitation. Aran has also gained invaluable experience working within a specialist hand department and, on a day to day basis, treats an array of musculoskeletal injuries in both a GP practice and a clinic setting.

Aran has a keen interest in the world of sport, competing in his younger years to a high standard both in football and rugby, and continues to be an avid member of his local golf and tennis clubs. This sporting background makes him a very driven individual with an excellent focus on both goal setting and patient-centred rehabilitation. Aran's background has provided him with an even greater appreciation for the importance of returning to optimal health and fitness in order to maintain quality of life.

Aran's treatment techniques favour a combination of a hands on approach alongside arming his patients with the knowledge and tools to optimise self-management, with the aim of reducing the risks of future recurrent injury.
